Performance Indicators and Curriculum Mapping

Program Assessment Design and Develop

Course One

Embark on a transformative journey as we explore the vital role of performance indicators in defining and evaluating student success, shaping instructional strategies and driving evidence-based decision-making for program improvement.

The development of performance indicators to define and assess student performance is a critical step in the process of the assessment of program outcomes. Performance indicators define and deconstruct a learning outcome into observable, measurable performances that both provide specific evidence that students are attaining the desired outcomes and identify the strengths and weaknesses in student learning.  Accordingly, with curriculum maps, performance indicators guide not only instructional strategies and curricular content, but provide consistency of evaluation, make expectations known to students and contribute to evidence-informed decision making and program improvement.

Join us in this dynamic course to equip yourself with the tools and insights needed to propel your educational programs to new heights of effectiveness and excellence. Let’s empower students and drive continuous improvement together.
